Tafenpah.com - Timor Island is now synonymous with beauty. Yes, in addition to the nature of the hills, the vast expanse of savanna with a million views that are all green, there are also religious tours that should be visited by domestic and foreign tourists.

One of the religious tourism that is now loved by tourists is the St. Catholic Church building. Antonius Padua Sasi which is located on Jl. Eltari No. KM 7, Sasi, Kefamenanu City District, North Central Timor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.

Because the buildings are made of Timor natural stone. In accordance with its history, one of the world's football legends from Italy, Del Piero was the one who funded the construction of this church building.

Remembering that Del Piero is the nephew of Father Antonio Razzoli who has devoted his life and ministry to this Church for decades.

This Catholic Church building is very unique. Because it has a very beautiful aesthetic value and full of artistic art.

Indeed, when you visit the interior of the island of Timor, especially in the border area of Indonesia - Timor Leste, there you will also find one of the Catholic Churches of Christ the King Haumeni in Haumeni Village, North Bikomi District, which is more or less similar to the Sasi Church.

Where both of them use building materials, almost 100 percent of Timor's natural stone. And the founder or person who was instrumental in building the Catholic Church was a missionary or Catholic priest/priest who came from the Blue continent (Europe).

Looking for Peace for a Moment in the Sasi Church Courtyard

Yesterday, the author explored the area of the Sasi Church Building and indeed the atmosphere there is very supportive for everyone who has lost loved ones, whether due to social - cultural problems or natural events and death that have separated them.

The author and his cousin (Paul Lake) really enjoy the strains of religious music, occasionally squinting towards one of the statues of the Virgin Mary which is also in the courtyard of the Sasi Catholic Church.

The combination of the two magnificent buildings really helps the writer to forget the departure of his late cousin (Selviana Suni) who passed away 2 weeks ago to the bosom of the Father in Heaven.

After being satisfied with enjoying and being grateful for the graces of life and at the same time submitting our intentions or requests to the Architect (Lord Jesus), we began to look for interesting spots along the church building which towers up to 7 meters with red natural stone native to the island of Timor which is unique and very exotic to explore. selfie.

Finally, for domestic and foreign travelers, if there is an opportunity, it is permissible to explore parts of the island of Timor and also the border area which is no less interesting for religious spots and tourism and beautiful green hills.
