Tafenpah.com - Timor Island is known to be dry and barren. However, the island of Timor has provided natural tourism that is still very virgin.

In addition to nature tourism, there are religious tours, traditional tours, and socio-cultural activities for mothers in traditional markets or in various other public spaces.

One thing you have to do is go in and live with the local people. The most appropriate and effective means is eating betel nut as a cultural tradition of the Timorese people (Atambua) and the island of Timor in general.

Of course, there is still natural beauty that you should visit, namely; Tuamese Hill, Motaain Cross-Border Post (PLBN), and Wini PLBN which offers a million beautiful landscapes of beaches and hills that are very tempting for domestic and world travelers to explore.

When the afternoon came to pick up, there was a cloudy sky that began to slowly change color to golden yellow.

Your vacation is not enough if you haven't witnessed it firsthand when the sun sets behind the hills of the island of Timor with its million savanna valleys. Especially at the height of the Fulan Fehan hill.

Fulan Fehan is one of the savanna valleys which is right under the foot of Mount Lakaan, Belu Regency, Atambua, NTT. The natural panorama of the savanna is very tempting for anyone to just relax with their beloved family, friends, crush, or work colleagues.

The savanna is more or less like places on the island of Timor, East Nusa Tenggara. If you visit Fulan Fehan in January – May, of course, you will get a beautiful green view.

However, the weather this month will not be friendly to visitors. Because NTT is still hit by the rainy season.

However, if you are used to winter, it's okay to visit, while capturing the moment with the green savanna and the blue sky of the island of Timor.

Transportation To Fulan Fehan

Transportation To Fulan Fehan

For those of you who come from Jakarta using air transportation, of course, you still have to take approximately 8 hours from Kupang city to Atambua city, if you choose the land route. However, for those who have enough budgets or even more, you can transit to El Tari Kupang International Airport and head to Haliwen Airport, Belu, Atambua.

However, for those of you who want to enjoy beautiful and tempting views, from Kupang, Soe, and Kefamenanu to Fulan Fehan (Atambua), you should only use the land route.

Especially for a photographer, of course, must take pictures of a lot of beauty along the way. Because the trans-Kupang road to Atambua is very winding, along beautiful and challenging cliffs and forests that are still beautiful and beautiful too.

You can use inter-city buses if you want to get to know the character and hospitality of the Timorese tribal people. Or if you want to enjoy quality time, you can use inter-city travel which is very cheap and safe, and comfortable to explore the beauty of the savanna of the island of Timor.
